This system rewards teams for winning or drawing games and getting to the later stages of a competition.&10;All points earned by clubs are added up and then divided by how many teams that country has; for England, their total score would be divided by eight, with teams across the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.&10;Before Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's&10;European games, Italy and Germany were top of the coefficient rankings, with England in third. Since then, Arsenal beat FC Porto in a thrilling second-leg penalty shootout to get to the quarter-final stages of the Champions League for the first time since 2010.&10;However, Germany's points total went up as Borussia Dortmund beat PSV Eindhoven 2-0 at&10;the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday.
